I've rebranded my YouTube channel to @CorvetteFun, and I'll continue to include content about all Corvettes, but this website is mostly focused on the ERay, so I'd be remiss to not include this VIDEO here. Since there are still a lot of questions about the lithium-ion starter battery in the ERay (not to mention the lithium-ion battery that drives the front wheels), I'll use this page to report the data that I've been recording and will continue to keep track of over the long-term.
The ERay has two lithium-ion batteries, one 12-volt that starts the car and one 300-volt that's part of the Performance Hybrid unit that drives the front wheels and makes an ERay (along with its V-8 engine) the only all-wheel drive Corvette. People want to know not only which battery chargers/maintainers are acceptable to use, but also when it's needed, and have very many questions about the longevity of both batteries. I'll present the information I collect through my own testing here.
